A leading insurance organization is seeking an experienced Actuary to join its corporate actuarial team. This hybrid role offers a mix of remote flexibility and in-office collaboration at either the Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC location.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and enhancement of actuarial models to support financial reporting, risk analysis, and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, finance, and compliance.
• Present complex actuarial findings to senior leadership and contribute to high-impact business decisions.
• Mentor junior analysts and support the actuarial exam program.
Qualifications:
• ASA designation required; FSA track preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of actuarial experience.
• Strong technical skills in Excel, SQL, MG-ALFA, and mainframe systems.
• Excellent communication and project leadership abilities.
